Street Photography France a le plaisir d’annoncer son concours du mois d’avril, placé sous le thème :
« Géométries Urbaines »

Dans l’espace public, la ville se construit à travers des lignes, des formes et des structures qui organisent le regard.
Ombres, perspectives, contrastes et répétitions transforment le quotidien en une composition visuelle où chaque élément trouve sa place.

La géométrie urbaine ne se limite pas à l’architecture : elle se révèle aussi dans les interactions humaines, les mouvements, et les instants fugaces qui viennent dialoguer avec l’espace.

Ce mois-ci, nous vous invitons à explorer la ville comme un terrain de composition graphique, où lignes, formes et volumes guident la narration.

Votre photographie devra mettre en avant une construction géométrique forte, dans laquelle l’espace, les lignes ou les formes structurent l’image.

Présence humaine ou animale

La présence d’un être vivant est obligatoire : humain ou animal.
Il doit s’intégrer de manière cohérente dans la composition géométrique et renforcer la lecture de l’image.

Le jury

Pour cette édition aussi, le jury sera composé de six personnes :

– Un membre d’honneur de Street Photography France
– Cinq membres de Street Photography France

Afin de garantir une évaluation totalement libre, équitable et impartiale, l’ensemble des membres du jury restera anonyme.

Critères de sélection

Les images seront évaluées selon les critères suivants :

– Présence d’une structure géométrique claire et dominante
– Intégration pertinente d’un sujet vivant dans la composition
– Authenticité : photographie de rue réelle, sans mise en scène
– Qualité esthétique : composition, lumière, équilibre visuel
– Utilisation des lignes, formes, ombres ou perspectives
– Capacité à créer une image graphique et impactante
– Respect de l’esprit de la street photography : spontanéité et instant sensible
– Retouches légères autorisées, sans altérer la réalité de la scène. L’IA est strictement interdite

Modalités de participation

– Une seule photo par participant
– Concours ouvert à tous, membres ou non membres de Street Photography France
– Dates du concours : du 10 au 20 avril
– Les photographies sélectionnées seront publiées sur les plateformes de Street Photography France
– Les images lauréates seront mises en avant par Street Photography France, y compris dans la revue

Street Photography France is pleased to announce its April contest, under the theme:
“Urban Geometry”

Shadows, perspectives, contrasts, and repetitions transform everyday life into visual compositions where each element finds its place.

Urban geometry is not limited to architecture — it also reveals itself through human interactions, movements, and fleeting moments that engage in dialogue with space.

This month, we invite you to explore the city as a field of visual composition, where lines, shapes, and volumes guide the narrative.

Your photograph must highlight a strong geometric structure, where space, lines, or forms define the image.

Human or Animal Presence

The presence of a living subject is mandatory: human or animal.
It must integrate naturally into the geometric composition and reinforce the reading of the image.

The Jury

For this edition, the jury will consist of six members:

– One honorary member of Street Photography France
– Five members of Street Photography France

To ensure a fully free, fair, and impartial evaluation, all jury members will remain anonymous.

Selection Criteria

Images will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

– Clear and dominant geometric structure
– Meaningful integration of a living subject within the composition
– Authenticity: real street photography, no staging
– Aesthetic quality: composition, light, visual balance
– Use of lines, shapes, shadows, or perspective
– Ability to create a strong and impactful visual composition
– Respect for the spirit of street photography: spontaneity and a decisive moment
– Light editing allowed, without altering the reality of the scene. AI is strictly prohibited

Submission Guidelines

– One photo per participant
– Open to everyone, members and non-members of Street Photography France
– Contest dates: from April 10 to April 20
– Selected photographs will be published on Street Photography France platforms
– Winning images will be featured by Street Photography France, including in the magazine
